Open positions
FlashStart Group, a global Cyber Security and DNS Filtering platform, is recruiting candidates in the role of “Software Engineer” for its Cesena Location.
The Resources will be included in the Research and Development Team and will be responsible for analysis, research, enhancement and maintenance of the FlashStart platform. The selected candidate will be an active part, with full involvement, in a Cyber Security reality that boasts, to date, distribution in as many as 154 countries worldwide.
Focus
» Analyze proposed features and identify new ones in the context of the backend and frontend part of the Cyber Security platform.
» Manage the development model and prototyping of new features to be implemented.
» Maintain current features, analyzing performance and any bugs reported by HD.
» Document the implemented implementations.
» Test and engage HD during release of releases.
Ideal requirements for candidacy
» Excellent knowledge of software programming, analysis and testing techniques.
» Good knowledge of major development environments and frameworks.
» Good knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
» Good knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, networking, routing, firewalling and addressing protocols.
» Fundamentals of Filtering and Security.
Education and experience
» Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering preferred.
» Diploma in technical field and/or specific post-diploma courses.
» Good knowledge of the English language.

Focus
This is a technical sales role in a fast griowing company. We have a good flow of inbound sales leads. The role is to contact these incoming leads, understand their needs and then explain the pricing and how our technnology works. The technical explanation will require you have the skills, or can be trained with the technical knowledge, to explain DNS filtering principles, IP configurations, malware threats and web site content categorization.
