1. Report Panel
This page allows you to check Internet traffic and network usage reports relating to a certain period of time.
Use the drop-down menu on the left to select what kind of requests to analyse.
The options available are the following:
» Blocked by category: it shows blocked requests to websites grouped by category.
» Blocked for macrocategory: it shows blocked requests to websites grouped by macro-category.
» Allowed by country: it shows the number of requests grouped by country.
» Allowed by category: it shows allowed requests to websites grouped by category.
» Allowed for macrocategory: it shows allowed requests to websites grouped by macro-category.
» Unwanted blocked: it shows access attempts to blocked websites.
» Malware: infected host blocked: it shows the number of malwares blocked by the filter.
» Malware: threats blocked: it shows the number of threats blocked by the filter.
» By time slot: it shows DNS requests in a specific day, grouped by time slot.
» By day: it shows DNS requests in a set time interval grouped by day.
» For weekday: it shows DNS requests in a set time interval grouped by day of the week.
» Dangerous requests transited: it shows access to unblocked websites considered dangerous by service.
» Allowed geolocation: it shows a world map with the number of requests grouped by geographic area.
In the example below, a Blocked by category report:
Use the Profi.: (Profiles) menu to choose to show reports either for the single profile or for all profiles.
At the top right corner of the panel you can set the start and end date of the time interval for which you want to monitor your network (you can click on the [calendar] icons to set the dates).
You can further narrow your report analysis by clicking on the [clock] icon to specify a time slot.
To start the search, just click on the lens icon next to [clock] icon.
By clicking on the [PDF] icon you can generate the report in .pdf format, while the [email] icon allows you to send the report via email.
Clicking on [Details], below the [PDF] and [email] icons, shows you more information about the current report request.
You can use the email feature called [Schedule report], at the bottom right corner of the page, to plan a weekly report to send to the customer.
