2. Activation

Connect into the Cloud account in which you want to activate the Client and open CLIENT SHIELD ROAMING menu.
If it’s the first time you open it, click [Continue] to enable the feature.
At this point the panel will show you the list of your profiles (Step 1) and, for each of them, its “Security key” (Step 2).
Choose the profile you want to use and copy the “Security key”, by clicking on the symbol on the right.
NOTE: The key will be different for each profile.

Click on link under (Step 3) to open the dowload page.
Click “Download ClientShield” (green button) to start the download.

3. Installation

Double click on the file (Setup.msi) you’ve just downloaded and install it on your PC.

3.1 For ClientShield 1.2.0.0 users

Internet Protection Client v2.0.0.0 is backward compatible with ClientShield v1.2.0.0, meaning you can safely uninstall version 1.2.0.0 without losing your registration.

You need to uninstall ClientShield 1.2.0.0 to install Internet Protection Client 2.0.0.0

4. Configuration

After the installation process has finished, it should open a new window.
If not, double click on the Clientshield icon on your desktop.
Fill in the fields as follows:
» Profile Key: Paste the alphanumeric key you copied before from the CLIENT SHIELD ROAMING menu.
» Description (optional): Continue with the default value (PC name) or enter a new name. This name will be shown on the Cloud panel, in the Clients section.

Click [Register] to connect the device with our hosts.
If everything is correct, you should see Protection enabled.
At this point you can close the window since the service will automatically run in the background.
NOTE: The Client will automatically update when a new version is available.

Congratulations, now your PC is filtered.
The plugin will automatically redirect the DNS requests to our IPs so there is no need to change anything else.

If you found any issue with Client-Shield configuration please open the linked guide called “Client-Shield: Troubleshooting” and check your error code.
