Ireland: internet among slowest in Europe

“Internet speeds among slowest in Europe”: this is the big title of the “Irish Examiner” newspaper (Tuesday, 8th of August, 2017) that analyzes broadband benchmarks in Ireland.
The average speed in business connectivity in the country is 13.92 Mbp/s, placing Ireland at 36th worlwide.

In Europe only Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Malta and Poland fare worse than Ireland.
In the world, the fastest average connection can be found in Singapore, at the top with 55.13 Mpb/s, while the worst is Yemen, with only 0,34 Mbp/s.

A good solution, to reduce bandwidth wasting and preserve connectivity is activating a Content Filtering Platform, such as FlashStart Cloud.
With FlashStart is possible to filter unwanted content, such as pornography, video and audio streaming, malware and unappropriate downloads.

Activating FlashStart Cloud is free for 15 days, with a fully featured trial version.
